Rock, the kid from the tough streets of the Bronx, initially started to head down the wrong path, but in 1984 this struggling actor who did his best to make ends meet as a stylist in the Big Apple, took his love of acting and Dramatics and combined it with the NYC beauty industry, fusing them together and calling his creation “Dramatics NYC”, a venture that turned his life around. He started with practically nothing when he first founded the salon chain “Dramatics NYC” which not only did very well as a small business chain, but made Manhattan NYC history, beating out giant brands as the most successful salon chain ever in New York City.
